Basmah's adaptability and versatility have taken her across diverse sectors, from the private sector to NGOs, government entities to educational institutions, and youth and women empowerment initiatives.

 As the Managing Partner at elleKhan, Basmah is at the forefront of crafting innovative programs that bridge gaps in the organizational, community and/or national ecosystems for women’s empowerment. A Founding Member and Former President of the Women Entrepreneurs Network (WEN), as well as her significant contributions to establishing the Women in Business Unit at the Federation of Egyptian Industries, Basmah remains dedicated to the cause of empowering women in the MENA region, leaving an indelible mark on the landscape of women's empowerment.

 Basmah's professional journey includes impactful roles engaging with government, NGOs, business communities, and various industries. Coupled with her extensive travel exposure, she brings a nuanced understanding of diverse business and social cultures, enriching her empowering conversations with audiences across various geographic regions. Since 2020, Basmah has been coaching executives, management, and staff of numerous UN agencies globally which has broadened her perspective and enriched her coaching approach.
